Hi! Welcome back. I need to make a confession. I am an old school, paper and pencil kinda gal. I like to write lists and I also really like having a paper calendar. I am sharing a calendar that I decorated for the month of October.

I printed this calendar from lemonsandlattes.com She has lots of options on her website and most things are free to download. I really liked the font that was used on the month title. But, I like to add something to make it extra special. For this month, I stamped images and text from the brand new Spooky Crew stamp set.
How cute is this stamp set?!? This Spooky Crew stamp set is part of the STAMPtember release from Simon Says Stamp. There are coordinating dies as well.

I thought the images were so darling and the sentiments were the perfect size for my project.
Here’s how I created the calendar. It was super easy and fun to do!
- I printed the blank calendar onto 80# Hammermill Premium Color Copy card stock.
- I stamped the images, using an acrylic block (I was a little scared to not use my MISTI)
- I stamped the sentiments with Mandarin Pawsitively Saturated ink, again using a block.
- I colored the images with Copic Markers.
And that’s it! Besides making cards with this set, a planner would be cute too. What would you create?
I also wanted to mention the pens I use are Pilot Frixion Erasable pens. I don’t like a messy calendar, therefore I NEED the eraser. I highly recommend these pens. Lots of colors as well black.
